we are moving from this tiny, anne frank-esque apartment in ~1/2 a month. shes been good to us. convenient, inexpensive, safe. but small. we acquired a lot of junk since setting foot in here, and we've surpassed the limit...months ago. so we are ready for a larger stomping grounds. unfortunately that comes with a higher cost per month...but i'm thinking/hoping it will be worth it.
we've been living in williamsville for two years. the rent at the last place went from 690+ to 740+ in just one year! glad we darted out of there when we did! it was a complex too. im not a fan of complexes...i like to trick myself into thinking its my "home" and a complex doesn't have that feel. so this place was 600...including all but cable and internet. mind you though it like 430 sq feet...with two people living here its like a linear path is all that can be followed. theres no storage room but one closet..so my car is pretty heavy with junk and she needs to be free of all that.
the new place is a lot bigger (but not too big!) a FULL kitchen..and by this i mean the living room and kitchen are not the same thing as in here. There are laundry hookups! 4 closets, 2 bedrooms! a full basement for storage! oh! and no kids living in the house! yay! noisy kids..argh! so we sacrifice the convenience of off street parking and cheap rent for these positive aspects.
Plus, we wanted a change from williamsville and after much time spent calling postings for apts for rent and driving around looking at different neighborhoods, we are happy with the place we found and the new neighborhood we will be in (so far happy...)
its near parkside ave. so it will def be a change from this williamsville we've been calling home.
change is good(?)

Fun stuff. Sounds spacious. I just counted in my head 11 different places I've called home since high schoo. Crazy
Oh... welcome to (e:strip) !
Welcome - and Parkside will be a change from Willyville. In this case it is change for the better if you ask me.
Welcome to (e:strip) . On a side note I can't imagine paying how much rent you where or living in willimsville but I guess if there was stuff included it was a good deal when plus when you cut it in half by two. Hope you like living in the city now.
